An Herbal and Storytelling Podcast about connecting to the natural world. Humankind's relationship to the natural world is as diverse and dynamic as each individual plant, animal, mineral, and piece of geography. There are many ways that we can engage with our living planet, be it through herbalism, gardening, hiking and other explorations, meditation and observation, and even artistic expressions. This series explores some of the many ways in which people may weave a tapestry of meaning in coexistence and mutuality with what surrounds us, these are Stories From the Earth.

#66 Medicines from the Earth Herb Symposium 2025 - Interview with Linnea Wardwell - Stories From The Earth Podcast

🍃Today we are going to be talking with Linnea Wardwell.  Along with  her husband Larry, they have contributed significantly to the herbal education of literally tens of thousands of individuals helping build and strengthen the herbal community. Through their company, Herbal Educational Services, they organize and promote the annual Medicines from the Earth conferences in Black Mountain, North Carolina, and the annual Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

🍃The goal of these conferences is to offer the highest quality information on herbal medicine through our herbal conferences, audio recordings, videos and books — which provide opportunities for continuing education in areas such as integrative medicine, naturopathic medicine, complementary medicine and holistic medicine. Over a thousand audio, video and lecture notes files to choose from by the most experienced practitioners and herbalists in the country.
