今回は、フィギュアスケートの文化とも言える「追悼プログラム」について語りました。
この前の四大陸選手権男子ショートで、アメリカのカムデン・プルキネン選手が、2018年に亡くなったデニス・テンのために「Caruso」を滑りました。かつでデニス・テンが四大陸で滑った音楽です。
人を追悼するプログラムは、スケーターの感情と自分の感情が重なって、なんともいえない気持ちになります。
デニス・テンを悼む多くのプログラムのうち、私が泣いてしまったのが「S.O.S. d’un terrien en detresse～苦悩する地球人のS.O.S.」。カナダのアイスダンサー、ケイトリン・ウィーバー＆アンドリュー・ポジェ組のフリーです。
どんなプログラムか、どんな気持ちになるのか、今回は少し長めに語っています。
