You know you’ve got into Med school because you’re smart and hardworking, but you get to first-year and suddenly it’s like you’ve never properly studied a word in your life before.
The doctors are too fast, there’s too many words you don’t even know how to pronounce, and the information load you receive on the daily is insane. On top of that, your exams are only a couple weeks away, and you haven’t gotten through all the subjects yet. It seems like everything is set against you.
You’ve probably seen the phrase ‘Study smart not hard’ thrown around on the internet whenever you look up study tips in your desperate attempts to salvage your grades. It sounds great and all, but how do you actually apply that concept?
