Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally on Oct 2: India 4th in standings after day 9 at Hangzhou 2022
On the ninth day of the Asian Games 2023, India won 7 medals taking the tally to a total of 60 medals in the 19th edition of the quadrennial event. India though got no gold today, the Indian sportspersons won 3 silver medals and 4 bronze medals - with 5 of them coming from Athletics. Ancy Sojan won a silver medal in the long jump, and Parul Chaudhary and Priti got a double podium finish in the 3000m steeplechase.India also got its bronze upgraded to silver after Sri Lanka was disqualified from the 4x400m mixed relay race.
