Do we truly know what it means to be a living, breathing sacrifice to God? Well in today's podcast that is what we discuss. As our relationship grows with God we have to learn how to sacrifice our flesh to better hear from God. The verse I reference is Romans 12:1. Sacrifice is not easy, but God gave us the ultimate sacrifice and that is His Son Jesus Christ. So if God can sacrifice His one true Son we can sacrifice our flesh as well.
In this week's episode, we discuss which Father you answer to. Are you a Christian or an Ambassador of Christ? I thank God for showing me that half of my life was spent being a Christian. I was even reminded of this by a friend, but God! I pray that during this podcast you are able to start to understand where you fall and seek Gods word for what it is He expects of you. In this segment, I am speaking about what being The Standout Kid means. What it means to find your purpose in God and apply that to your life. God has given us all as believers a single purpose and that is to proclaim His word and win back the lost. But in order to do that we must understand who we are in Him. We have to understand what it means to be an heir and an ambassador of Christ. My prayer is that from this message something will spark and your hunger will intensify. Hey, guys how was your week? Today's podcast talks about marriage and how beautiful God has made this relationship to be. God instituted this covenant to bring about a natural man and a natural woman to be joined as one, fruitful, and fill the earth. I reference Ephesians 5:31, and 33 and Genesis 2:18, 21-25, and 9:7. My prayer is for those embarking on this journey of leaving their father and mother behind and becoming one with their spouse. Welcome back! This week we are discussing the sensitive topic of Divorce. Being a divorcee myself I know and understand what it means to be in an unhealthy marriage. It is no fun. But God said that if we keep our eyes and our focus on Him that He can even turn an unhealthy marriage into a healthy one. The scriptures that this episode is based on are Matt 5:31-32, and Ephesians 5:22-33. I also reference Eph 4:31, Matt 6:14, and Matt 18: 21-22. There might come a point where you have to meet with a therapist and that is fine. Just continue to pray and ask God to lead you. I will continue to pray for those marriages that are suffering. In today's episode, I am speaking about what it means to break those generational curses that we know our family or ourselves have suffered from. God had delivered us therefore when we gave our lives to Him those curses were instantly broken over our lives. When we began to walk out His word and have a genuine meaningful relationship with Him, then those curses were broken over our children and their children. The scriptures I reference are 1st John 3: 7-9, Psalm 37:23, and Proverbs 16:9. I pray that while listening to this God reveals ways that He can use you to break the curses that are trying to establish themselves over your life. I love you as God loves you. Yall I can not believe we are here. God is so good. Never in a million years could you have told me I would have a podcast. The devil tried and still tries to stop me from recording but I just keep pressing on because I am forever obedient to God. I have no clue what I am doing Lol, that is how I know this is nothing but his holy spirit using me to spread His word. God is just amazing and I love Him so much. My life will forever be a representation of Him. Nothing and no one can ever take that away from me. I am a follower, and child of Jesus Christ all the days of my life! Distractions are a standard part of our lives. We have some 'good' distractions (kids, pets, groceries, parents, etc.) and some bad distractions ( unhealthy relationships, addictions, etc.). As a follower of Christ, we have to be mindful of what we allow to distract us and for how long. We have to remember that even during our distractions we should keep God first. If we are not careful that distraction could affect not only us but others that were innocent bystanders. In this podcast, we take a glimpse into the lives of King David and Queen Bathsheba. How David was distracted and his distraction not only affected him but three others as well. I encourage you to read 2 Samuel chapter 11 and watch the beginning and end of one of the King's distractions. Let's be mindful of the things we allow to take up our time. Let us try to add those couple extra free minutes we have spending it with God. I Love yall be blessed.
What do you do in your spare time? God wants you to be in every area of your life, even when you are not doing 'anything'. He desires for us to fill our time spending it with Him. What does that look like in everyday life? Well, that means we need to read more of our bible, pray more, seek Him more, and do things that will edify our spiritual walk with Him. God loves spending time with us. He loves revealing us, to us, about us, and then working with us to heal, correct, and forgive. In this podcast, I reference Romans 12: 10-21. In Hebrew, the word Trust means confidence, to make a refuge, and have hope. Do you truly trust in God? I know it can be hard to trust God in every area of your life. It's easy to say God I trust that you will take care of this bill or get me this job or make a way for this or that. But can you trust God to heal you from past hurt? What about trusting God to allow you to forgive those who hurt you or to forgive yourself? Trust is such a heavy word that has been used so much I think we have forgotten how powerful that word truly is. The scriptures I reference are Psalm 31:1-2, Isaiah 26:4, and Jeremiah 17:7. I pray that his message encourages you and reminds you that you can trust God in every single area of your life no matter what is it. Be Blessed and remember that GOD loves you!
Hello everyone, this week I am speaking about my testimony and how God has redeemed me for His glory. God is so good ya'll and I am honored that He has chosen me to bring forth His word. I read from 1 Corin 1:30, Psalm 34:18-20, Isaiah 43: 1-3, and Ephesians 1:7-9. My prayer is that telling my story it encourages you to tell your story. I hid behind shame for far too long. I am no longer ashamed of my past and the sins I have committed. I gave it all to God for HIS glory to use as He pleases. I want you all to know you are loved no matter what! Among many standards God has given us to live by He also has given us character builders to help us in our daily lives. He has called us to walk in His spirit which is evident by the love we give, the Joy we have, and the Peace we carry. The way we are able to endure (Longsuffering) during times of trouble. Being Kind, Good, Faithful, and Gentle while having self-control. A lot of these areas I myself have struggled in on a daily basis.
