Living better with Parkinson’s Disease requires more than medication. Exercise and Community are equally important. In the Summer of 2022 the Spinning Wheels Tour cycled 8000km across Canada raising awareness about Parkinson’s Disease and the importance of Exercise and Community. This podcast is an attempt to continue that mission. Join us as we have conversations about what it is like to live with PD, what experiences we share, and how anyone connected with the disease can stay positive and make a positive difference.

Mike and Darlene’s Excellent Adventures
In this episode of Spinning Wheels, Parkinson’s Conversations with Jim Here host Jim Redmond and Engineer Mike Loghrin have the pleasure of welcoming Darlene Richard’s-Loghrin and Mike Snetsinger. Both Darlene and Mike are real Spinning Wheels Tour heroes.
This episode was recorded shortly after the one year anniversary of completing the coast to coast tour of Canada. It would not have happened without Darlene Richard’s-Loghrin and Mike Snetsinger.
In relation to Parkinson’s Disease Darlene is a care partner and Mike is a person with Parkinson’s but there is so much more to both them and their roles in the Spinning Wheels Tour.
So please listen in to the essence of what this podcast is all about: having a conversation about PD. Knowing that it impacts all areas of your life but, even with that first hand knowledge, not allowing Parkinson’s to be the most important thing in life. Both Darlene and Mike live their values of Family and Friends.
Please share this episode with one other person.
