In this episode we go deep into brand marketing with Imke Dannhauser, who is currently working for Google where her focus is on the brand marketing for search and Gemini in sub-saharan Africa.
Obviously I wanted to know how someone goes about getting a job at Google, but we also discussed the complexity of bringing a product like generative AI into a market, the comparison between brand and performance marketing and how you can know that it’s time for a massive rebranding operation.
