Calling Agent 69...er, um actually 007...actually...What did we just watch? Barry and Julia discuss the first movie they ever saw together back in college. Over 20 years later their thoughts have solidified over this raunchy James Bond rip off starring...James Bond! They talk about Borman's off the wall choices in this film, including a talking ghost character, unnecessary B plots, gratuitous nudity and how Pierce Brosnan's character gets away with everything.

This movie is UNBELIEVABLE OOHHHH! Barry and Julia breakdown the ridiculous plot of Violet Sandford who moves from New Jersey to NYC to fulfill her dreams and then gets sucked into the unsanitary world of a Coyote Ugly bar. Conversation includes what type of Coyote Julia would be, the surprising movie Barry likes better and all the chaos. Barry thinks 2 things in this film are actually believable and they hope the true story will one day come to film.

Barry has Julia at, "Are you that film critic guy?" In this episode, your hosts talk about the eternally popular "Jerry Maguire" (1996). They discuss all things Cameron Crowe, debate the painfully earnest dialog, comment on how a great Springsteen tune became an unceasing 90's ear-worm, and question if the film's eternal optimism holds up in the 21st century. And yes, Barry and Julia reenact the moment they first met (cue the Springsteen tune!).

Barry and Julia discuss this classic sci-fi film from 1978. They get into the mechanics of how the pod people arrive from space. Is it space sperm? They talk about the meaning of the film as a cult and fight against conformity. They wonder about public mud baths and how dog man was created. Barry also gets into his epic day walking around San Francisco on a self-guided Invasion of the Body Snatchers Tour. This episode was a listener request. Thank you Jason!

Barry and Julia grab a broom and fly to the wonderful land of Oz for an epic time at Shiz University. Listen in for Barry's take on musical theater, talking goats and hiring actors who can't sing. Julia does her best Ga-Linda impression and thinks this movie definitely defies gravity even if it is way too long. Scandalocious material ahead.

Barry and Julia delve into the 2024 body horror film "Night B*tch" starring Amy Adams as an exhausted mom turned...dog? Based on the critically acclaimed novel of the same name, this film got your hosts talking about parenthood, sleepless nights and whether "Mother" should have gotten back with her husband or murdered him. This discussion will resonate with anyone who has stayed up rocking a baby and then sleepily walked that child to the library the next day just for some social interaction. Did this film resonate? Listen in and hear their candid conversation but don't worry, Barry will bring it back to the absurd rather quickly.

Barry and Julia are back with new episodes in 2025 and are starting with the controversial title, "It Ends with Us." What was once a surprise summer blockbuster has soured into a wave of bad press. Your hosts discuss the difference between a Meet Cute and a Meet Creepy Atop a Building, the likeliness of running a flower shop despite no visible customers, the bad flashbacks vs. the even worse present scenes, the awful names of the characters and how Blake Lively is stuck having two lousy hot dudes to choose from. While we understand the importance of a topic like domestic violence, this film is worthy of our snarky critique and we tell you why.

The fact that this film was even made, much less with Bruce Willis, is unbelievable. The only version available is the unrated directors cut. Good luck finding the original theatrical version. (If you do, Barry is interested in knowing where you found it.)
