Minute 28 of the Science of Sleep by Michel Gondry. Apologies for the huge gap. Stephane is having dinner with his Mum and Gerard, who he appears to be unimpressed with. Gerard does some impressive tricks and one less impressive. We hear that this strange dreaming Stephane has been doing has been going on since childhood.
We then spend the rest of the time discussing The Invisible Man which we had both just seen. Spoilers ahead. And spoilers for the spoiler - we didn't like it much.
Min 47 of The Science of Sleep in which we get the end of the sexy snog and Stephanie sadly plays the melancholy piano piece alone in her flat. Stephane has a nightmare involving the cave. We chat about waffles and crumpets and a weird mirror dream.

Sorry for such a long gap listener, life has been getting in the way. This was recorded a few weeks ago. No matter, this one is the one where we see Gael STARK/BUTT/TOTALLY f***ing naked. Ok ok calm down. Stephanie sees Stephane take the letter back in her hallway and is telling Zoe what the note she found under the door say. We are unsure why she doesn't mention that he was round her house but now I think it just was a missed conversation in the film.
We chat about speed walking, hot baths, nudity, leg cramps in dreams. smoke detectors going off in the middle of the night, helicopter rides, BMW drivers, how hard it is to find films without romance, Studio Ghibli, areas without human noise, people turning up at your place of work unexpectedly and Gemma swears a heck of a lot (so warnings if you dislike that).

Welcome to minute 39 of Michel Gondry's The Science of Sleep. We chat about our holiday (now months ago, sigh) and Jools' trip to Birmingham. In the minute, Stephane is made to work in his dream while the office is chaotic around him. Stephanie tells Zoe about her dream of a turtle and a praying mantis having a fight over an elephant - created by the sound of Stephane putting the note under the door in his sleep walking next door. We see them at work in an art shop and some cool Gondry animation of the turtle and praying mantis on a planet. We learn that all tortoises are turtles but not all turtles are tortoises, or is it the other way round, I can't remember.
