In this episode, we sit down for an honest, creative, and soul-stirring conversation with SHALdo. I loved this because chats with fam sit different. You wanna listen to this talk, about honesty, courage, and finding belonging through creativity. We teeter on the edge of the sacred and the scandalous, or is there even a sacred and a secular divide? That bus ride from Harare to Cape Town that we are never doing again plus shared meals, performances, and the kind of conversations that shape you.
He is a Writer Storyteller Creative & Warrior-poet but He says bios are boring so, I will stop here.

I thoroughly enjoyed talking with Author, Speaker, Revivalist, and joy enthusiast Shelter Musavengana about all things—her new book, her passion for Jesus, her love of tea and the childhood escapades surrounding it, and the joys of being “zapped" by the Holy spirit.
We’re already planning a second sit-down to dive deeper into her book, so stay tuned, because you don’t want to miss it.
Shelter Musavengana is a Zimbabwean-born “Kingdom citizen,” a licensed minister under Bethel Church in Redding, California, and the founder of One King Global, a ministry dedicated to making Jesus known. She is a devoted follower of Christ, a speaker, itinerant minister, worshipper, and writing consultant with a Master’s in Creative Writing.
A graduate of the Every Nation Leadership Institute (now Every Nation Bible School) in Windhoek, Namibia, and the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA, where she remains actively plugged in, Shelter lives to see people’s lives collide with the love, power, and presence of God.
Jenna-Mae Curtin is someone who lives with depth, warmth, and radical empathy, a true verbal processor and deep thinker. A Dancer, Visual Artist, Poet and Missionary.
This week, as Jenna and I Sit with U, she walks us through the quiet power of emotional sensitivity, her early life with an invisible disability, and what it means to be the hope that keeps on hoping.
This conversation opens up tender territory: how it feels to be profoundly affected by the emotions of others, and how she has transformed that sensitivity into strength.
Tune in as we explore the nuances of connection, identity, and what it truly means to listen.

I had a great time catching up with Kuda Rice in this fun and insightful episode. Titled after his first EP this is an ode to young Kuda Rice as a testament that life is not always what we see in the now.
Kuda Rice is a Zimbabwean writer, storyteller and performance artist. His storytelling is mainly portrayed through poetry and spoken word which has also transformed to not only be expressed through words, but also through visuals and fashion. At his core is the need to tell his inner truths and experiences as well as external truths and other people’s experiences of the different spheres of life.
We dove into his journey growing up, explored the twists and turns of his creative path, and unpacked what truly sets him apart as a young creative. From honest reflections to moments of vulnerability and lighthearted moments, this conversation reveals what makes Kuda so relatable and why so many people find it easy to connect with Kuda.

This episode plunges into the dark alleys of unimaginable stories, getting to the heart of those shocking adventures I have had and never thought I would survive. When life throws me into the deep end, simply assuming I'll swim—when it's truly sink or swim—this is about that desperate floundering, arms and legs thrashing in all directions, no strategy, just pure survival instinct!
The juxtaposition of real life stories of danger, laughter and the drama that unknown fears introduce to the script of my life. Highlighting why it’s important to never go it alone but rather go with a friend who is closer than a brother.
If you are a keen and curious mind like me you will enjoy this!
In this episode I dive into a fascinating topic for me : Passover and Easter.
I talk about one of the most popular and meaningful Jewish holidays, Passover and Easter the same for Christians. This year these events coincide!
Although, Passover and Easter couldn’t be more different from each other in the foods, rituals, and traditions that surround each holiday. But, surprisingly, the seasonal overlap between these two holidays is no accident. Unlike the overlap between Hanukkah and Christmas, which is basically coincidental, Passover and Easter are intimately linked.
This episode is a passionate talk around conversations I have been having in the last week.

I visited the historic Cape Coast Slave Castle and had the remarkable Justice K. Acquah as our tour guide. He absolutely does Justice to the tour and his passion is undeniable. He has been a tour guide at the Cape Coast for over a decade and some.
This experience was very evocative for me, I found myself teetering between weeping, a feeling of asphyxiation and nausea at some point at the gruesome reality of what took place here. I share this talk because by the time we left I was able to see what lessons to take from the time we spent in the castle and I hope you will be provoked into some hard questions and conversations.
The building struck me as a little girl trying to keep up appearances, its whitewashed exterior a facade of innocence. As I entered, the stark contrast between light and dark hit me with visceral force. The male slave dungeon, hidden beneath the pristine surface, was oppressively heavy, shrouded in darkness, and claustrophobically confining. The juxtaposition of the building's outward purity and its grim interior deeply haunting.

The question that has been on my mind for a while has been “Why is our generation a Fatherless Generation?”
In this episode I sit with Mike Channing and we speak about Sonship & Fatherhood, trauma bonds and how true Godly governance is Family, Fathers and Sons. He speaks about how you can only be a father if you have been a son, we learn fathering through sonship.
Mike Channing is an Educator, a father and a leader who has been on mission teaching on Redemptive Gifts of individuals and Nations. He has been working with the Nama people of Namibia and the Avambo people. He lives in South Africa with his lovely wife Anne.

I had the joy of being on Star FM, one of Zimbabwe’s national radio stations, where we spoke about being unequally yoked in 21st-century dating on the show Faith On Trial!
After the interview, so many people asked about this episode—and the Faith On Trial hosts at Star FM graciously agreed to let me share this excerpt. Yay!
In this episode, I sit down with ET (Ephraim Tagu), Pastor Presley Nyenya, Thobekile Sibanda, and Sakhile—with a special shout-out to Steve Vickers in absentia.

I know for most when we talk about #Mission24/7 most people think its escapist and for lazy folks who have not got anything else to do but Mayn let me walk you into some truth in this episode.
Missions is not only for super-Christians, you can be on mission everyday from where you are. Missionaries are not glorified tourists living an easy travel life. You can lose your life on these streets. Its a life and death issue.
In this episode Umind?! walks through the issues to do with Missions and field work and talks about a trip where she could have died.
