We choose isolation often more than we care to admit. It kills joy, breaks down relationships, and sucks the life out of businesses and life in general...So why do we do it? How do we change?

Which extreme are you? The best and worst businesses I have seen both exhibit facets of ADHD. Two extremes, with vary different results. A short thought, but a good one (my totally unbiased opinion).

We already have limits, so why add more? In this episode of the (now free) 12-week series we talk about why it is so critical to add artificial constraints to our lives and businesses as a strategy for getting past the very real constraints we struggle with.

I have seen a pattern in my life, and in my experiences with others. My limits are what motivate and focus me. What would happen if we leaned into the limits and embraced the constraints? How do we do it effectively?

While trying to build a business and life that is simply energizing...what is the single greatest question? Nope, no hints here.
I will however tell you that the question has the capability to change your life if you let it. It is this very question that has framed the course of my journey as an entrepreneur.
If I could talk to myself 15-20 years ago, first I'd tell myself that the afro might have been a bit overkill. Second, I'd tell myself to think of my life more like a business. Not in a cold, heartless way, but in a way that sets me up for success.
82% of business failure is attributed to cash flow problems. We talk in this episode about a simpler approach to cash flow management (or "budgeting") that I have used for a decade, and it works because it focuses on behavior management, not just math.
If we pour into people, they talk about us, right? Well, kind of. We look at why we need to invest time in word-of-mouth marketing, but also how to do it more effectively.
Progress in personal and business growth can sometimes be elusive, and slippery. What it often boils down to isn't complicated.
Growth is often a goal, but it's kind of a fuzzy goal. For myself I have been putting a lot of thought lately into what growth really means and why it is even important.
