Shed the Dark

I'm make. I know it's been a while and for that I apologize but I having been going through a lot mentally and emotionally, and have been healing from things I don't want to talk about at this point, and so I chose to focus instead on where I hope to be with Shed the Dark. It's a poem of me finding peace and letting go of the things that were dragging me down, and getting ready to finally move on and do something with my life. I hope you can relate or at least understand why I am doing this. I hope you enjoy and as always I am here to share my poetry with the world both good and bad.

This one is a shorter poem, but reflects my position in life right now, things while turbulent are shifting in my favor and Double Down is a reminder to face life's challenges one stride at a time. It's not always going to be easy and sometimes you have to stand alone, but always stand with conviction and double down when things are going your way.

I've been struggling a lot with my place in the world, with everything go on, I feel alone and helpless, and this poem was written to express my battle between my small life problems weighing me down as I watch the world around me wishing I could be doing more.
