Ep. 11 Three Japanese phrases you must know to speak like native speaker.

All in English. Here are three phrases you must know to speak like Japanese native speaker.

I went to the Costco yesterday.

Did you?

Yeah. It was my first time and I was so surprised because the store is massive!

Oh yeah I know.

I bought a whole cheese cake and it was just 1000 yen!  Can you believe it?!

What!? Just 1000yen!?

Yes I definitely go and buy the cheesecake again!

Yes

Hey, Shoko’s birthday party is it tomorrow?

Yeah, it is.

Is the birthday party for Shoko tomorrow?

No. the day after tomorrow.

Use ちがう when you speak to someone familiar.

Really? Seriously? You kidding? No way!

I saw Beyonce at the  cafe in the town.

No way! Which cafe?

I heard that the Sturbacks in the station will close down in next month.

Really? I didn’t know that.
