A Life Of Integrity - Session 1 of Transparency that Transforms
The theme of our training conference in Bolivia in April, 2025, was Transparency that Transforms. We looked at the importance of transparency in the life of a leaders ministry and marriage. In this first session we join pastor Don and Claudia Erickson discussing the Biblical examples of transparency and why it is so important. Pastor Don will conclude by looking at the life of Joseph and the key leadership traits that he demonstrated.
As you press on in your life and ministry calling we hope that you will be encouraged by the example and faithful integrity of both Joseph and pastor Don and Claudia so you may finish well in all that God has entrusted to you.
Faith for Today and Tomorrow - #7 Past, Present and Future. In Acts chapter 20 we find Paul, towards the end of his life, meeting with the Ephesian elders. He is expressing his heart to these dear friends in whom he had poured his life into realizing that this would be the last time they would see each other this side of heaven.
In this final message of the series on Faith for Today and Tomorrow, we join pastor Steve as he says goodbye to his friends at Wayside Chapel after faithfully serving there for 34 years.
As you press on in your life and ministry calling we hope that you will be encouraged by the example of both the Apostle Paul and pastor Steve to finish well in all that God has entrusted to you.
Faith for Today and Tomorrow - #6 He is the Great I AM. Most people around the world would recognize the historical existence of Jesus Christ. Some would consider him to be a great teacher, others an influencial prophet of old.
But the real question that all of us will be asked to answer upon the end of this life is do we believe that Jesus was God as He absolutely claimed to be?
In this next teaching on the Gospel of John, pastor Steve looks at 8 of the great I AM statements that Jesus Christ makes that unmistakably express His claim to divinity as the Son of God.
#5 We have a Fearless Forerunner - In this message from John 15:12-27, pastor Steve explains that Jesus has led the way for us as our fearless forerunner. He calls us follow Him and be His friend, to be fruitful, fearless and faithful in our witness.
#4 We have a Fruitful Fellowship - What does fruitfulness look like in your life? Would you define it in terms of your possessions, your accomplishments, your family? Our lives are meant to be fruitful, but we can only experience real fruitfulness when we are dependent upon the true vine, Jesus Christ. The good news is that this is how we were designed to be as we abide in Christ and He in us.
In this 4th message from John 15:1-11, pastor Steve will look at what it means to abide in Christ and see the fruit of God’s Spirit in us as a result.
#3 We Have a Faithful Friend - Have you ever struggled to forgive someone? Is genuine peace something that you have given up hope on having in your life? Do you still long for an intimate relationship with God?
If so, then you will be encouraged by the message coming from John, chapter 14:16-31. Pastor Steve will look at the Person, Presence, Purpose and Peace of the Holy Spirit sent by God the Father, Christ in us.
#2 We Have A Forever Father - In this next message by pastor Steve, he talks about the impact of having a Forever Father as he continues in his study of John 14:7-15.
In the midst of a troubled world, we need to understand that We have a good, good Father. He has been revealed through Christ and He remains in control of all things. He reigns forever and His plans are ultimately for our good.
#1 We have a Fabulous Future - If we have learned anything from the challenges that the world has faced in the last couple of years, it is that we live in uncertain times of great change. In the midst of growing suffering and loss, where do we find hope? In the Upper Room Discourse found in John 14 - 16, Jesus discloses that, even though He will be leaving his disciples, this is just the beginning. His words fill them with hope and a renewed faith.
In this series entitled “Faith for Today and Tomorrow” pastor Steve will explore where the disciples of Jesus found renewed faith in the midst of the tremendously difficult times in which they lived. We find this in the upper room discourse found in John chapters 14 and 15.
I think it is true that we often reminisce about the past, but too often fail to consider the importance of our future. So you’ll be encouraged as I was by pastor Steve’s teaching on John chapter 14:1-6 and the knowledge that in Christ, “We have a Fabulous Future.”
In this third part of our Integrity Matters series, Pastor Don will look at what it takes to develop a life of integrity. Integrity is not something that we automatically obtain when we come to faith in Christ. A life of Integrity is a daily, conscious commitment to obedience. 2 Corinthians 1:12
In this third and final part of our series The Grand Narrative of the Bible, Arlie and Rick will discuss the joys of multiplying disciples starting with how Jesus is our best example of disciple making.
In this second part of our series The Grand Narrative of the Bible, Arlie and Noemi will help us see the importance of learning and understanding the story line of Scripture and what it reveals about God’s Story.
Far too often we read the Bible in short segments and we miss understanding how each story fits into the grand narrative of the Bible. In this first part of our series The Grand Narrative of the Bible, Arlie and Noemi will look at God’s plan for marriage as it springs forth from the beginning of Creation.
Your marriage matters to God. It is a witness to the world and a visible expression of Christ's love for the church. In this first part of our Marriage is Ministry series, Pastor Jim and Arline Parris will look at the character and love of the original Designer of your marriage.
