Just the other day while I was getting ready, I had YouTube running around in the background as I normally do. I'm a recovering YouTube addict, except I've never been officially diagnosed and I'm not recovering.... Anyway, this video came on of this Preacher, of a faith I don't belong to, was discussing the suicide of his child. His message really spoke to me on how to deal with tragedy. I've heard this message before, but it hit me different this time. Maybe it will for you too.

When I came up with She Method, I was getting ready to make it go live. Unbeknownst to me, a friend of mine had a very similar idea that I had. Angela and her friend Brittany also wanted to empower women just like I did. I had a good laugh, because Angela and I have a history of having similar ideas! And here we are again, with an alarmingly similar idea. The great news is, we have a similar goal in mind, to empower women (including ourselves), but we have completely different ways in how we go about it. I'm excited to welcome Angela and Brittany from Becoming Empowered Women today to the She Method.

My young friends, I'm reaching out to you today. High school can and should be an amazing time! Football games, pep rallies (do they still have those?), assemblies and of course, dating. Are we nice to a person's face, but say mean things behind their backs? Today, we are all going to take a good long look in the mirror and see the person we really are today. And with one challenge, that I'm going to give you, I'm going to show you how you can become a better person starting today.

I'm going down a different route today with Wednesday's Woman. I'm going to highlight a woman that I haven't even met and probably will never meet. Her motivational quotes have brought me life. She's very famous and I am very not famous. Which means if you're listening to this podcast, then you'll notice this person is not on the podcast with me. You don't know how bad I wish she could be, but I'm going to spotlight her anyway because she taught me so many lessons and I'm striving continually to be just like her. That woman is Robin Roberts. I listened to her Master Class and her motivational quotes brought so much light to my life, I wanted to share with all of you and let you hear about one of my heroes.
