Time for a premiere: As part of the celebratory season for the 40th Anniversary of EWMD, we are hosting the 2nd every english episode of "She did it".
Over a span of ten episodes, Ariane Bischoff and Simone Lersch will talk to 40 EWMD members about their personal stories, what brought them to EWMD and what they value especially in the network. By doing so, we will collect 40 unique EWMD stories right in time for the big 40 year celebration in October of 24.
This episode is hosted by Ariane and she welcomes four wonderful guests from Italy and Spain: Beatrice Lusetti, Adriana Albini⁠, Mayte Valverde Elices and Mihaela Chelaru⁠.

• Beatrice Lusetti makes sure that EWMD is functioning properly. She runs the EWMD International Office since 2020 and has become a rock for the entire association and its members. Beatrice share her outside-in perspective on EWMD with us describing her experience as a non-member working amongst EWMD members on a daily basis.
• Adriana Albinia is Scientific Collaborator of the Directorate of European Institute for Oncology-IEO in Milan and also Member of the Board of Directors of AACR American Association for Cancer Research to name just 2 of her key positions. And next to her career, Adriana is a very active member of EWMD Italy in a leading position.
• Mayte Valverde Elices lives in Madrid and is founding member of the newly established EWMD chapter Madrid. Mayte is Talent & Culture Global Manager at the Bank Santander developing e-learning platforms for all countries in Santander. We learn about her first point of contact with EWMD, why she became a member and what drives her to put in the extra effort to set up a new chapter. 

• Mihaela Chelaru attended in 2018 the 'Digital Women' event in Reggio Emilia organized by the EWMD ReggioModena Chapter and became EWMD member a few years later. Today she is Director Digital and belongs to the EWMD Internation board. Mihaela shares her motivation to become EWMD member as an Italian  women working in research in the Netherlands.
