Consent for kids! Boundaries, Respect and being in charge of you is arguable one of the best books on consent. You can read it with your child or have them read it on their own. Set in a comic style by Rachel Brian, the creator of the tea and consent videos from Blue Seat Studios. If your consent is ignored, you need to get out of danger safely. To help calm the situation and regain control, use the 'yes technique'. The 'yes technique' is designed to help an aggressor feel appeased and more in control. Use this to your advantage to get to safety or alert someone who can help you. If you can keep your stress levels under control, you can use this to get out of sexual assault, peer pressure and other forms of harassment when your non consent is being ignored.

Created for parents and teachers to learn (and then teach their kids) what consent is, how to recognise consent, and different ways to express giving or not giving consent. Most importantly it gives you ideas to incorporate teaching consent in everyday life, or in micro moments, rather than sitting down to explain in a talk alone.
