How To Cope when Mother's Day Can Be Painful

Mother's Day is not always a celebration.

Mother's Day can be painful for

  • The woman whose mother has died
  • The woman trying to conceive and monthly grieving the arrival of her cycle
  • The woman who has had a child die from miscarriage, stillbirth or during childhood or as an adult
  • The woman who never had a relationship with her mother
  • The mother estranged from her child

The commercialism of Mother's Day often emphasis what one does not have or never had in their life.

In today's episode, Sheryl offers a few suggestions on how to cope with the emotions of Mother's Day and reminds you that it is ok to be feeling the way that you feel.
