Those who have been saved from all their sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit must know that they can enjoy the Lord's special love in their lives by serving the Lord's work of salvation. As a believer in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, I can't help but confess that throughout all the years that I have served this gospel, the Lord's special love has always been with me in my ministry. So, I admonish all the others who believe in and preach the righteousness of the Lord to also enjoy His special love in their lives, just as I have. As you begin to read my sermons on the Song of Solomon in this book and ruminate on the Lord's Word, you will be able to feel His love even more.

Sermons on the Song of Solomon (I) - Are You Now Living as the Object of God’s Affection?
1. Have You Kissed The Lord? (Song of Solomon 1:1-17)
As the title denotes, the Song of Solomon was written by Solomon expressing God’s great love for His people. When we look into the Song of Solomon, we can see the workers of God having received the remission of their sins. These workers are represented by the Shulamite woman. This Book shows us, just how much God loves His workers who have decided to unite their hearts with the will of the Lord and live for the preaching of the gospel. When God looks at His approved workers, they are so lovely to Him that He cannot hide His feelings.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

2. Are You Among God’s Beloved? (Song of Solomon 2:1-7)
The verses that we just read are actually speaking of God’s true workers. So, the appropriate way to interpret today’s Scripture passage is to read it as a dialogue between the Lord and God’s workers. It’s written in today’s passage of Scripture that God’s saints and workers alike are the objects of His love. The Bible says that in God’s sight, His workers are “the roses of Sharon and the lilies of the valleys.” This means that even though God’s workers endure hardship in their lives for the sake of His work, the gospel is preached even more on account of their self-sacrifice. As we know, there are countless people born in this world every day, but among these many people, it is God’s special workers who have put on His special love.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

3. What Do the Believers In the Gospel of The Water and the Spirit Mean to God? (Song of Solomon 2:1-17)
The Song of Solomon is a love song whispering about the love the Lord has for us. This Scripture describes the relationship between the Lord and His workers. The Shulamite woman was in unity with her Lord. This unity between the Shulamite woman and the Lord explains to us very well, the kind of relationship we the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit have with the Lord. In such a relationship, one can’t help but sing a love song, and the Song of Solomon is a beautiful poetic expression of this love.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

5. We Are Loved by God (Song of Solomon 4:1-16)
Today’s Scripture reading may sound like a romantic poem written by someone who is head over heels in love. In reality, this passage shows us just how much God loves us the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, especially those of us who have become His workers. It illustrates how much God cherishes His workers. When God sees us, that’s how lovely we are to Him.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

4. Let Us Share Fellowship With the Lord In Our Lives (Song of Solomon 3:1-11)
Warm greetings to you all. People usually find the Lord when they are facing hardships. Such difficult times provide an opportunity to meet the Lord. This seems to be the case for you and me as well. When we look back and examine our past lives, we can see that it was when we were struggling with a hardship that we found the Lord. It was when we were struggling that we could look for the Lord and meet Him as well. In other words, it was when we were grappling with some hardship that our Lord came looking for us and met us through the gospel of the water and the Spirit. In a similar vein, it’s when we meet our Lord that we are able to be relieved from our hardships. It’s when we meet the Lord that we can be freed from all our worries and embark on a genuine and profound fellowship with Him.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

6. We Must Believe That God Loves Us (Song of Solomon 4:1-16)
We just read the most beautiful poem in this world. This poem describes just how much Jesus Christ loves all of us who have become God’s righteous workers. The passage of Scripture we just read comes from Song of Solomon chapter 4. At first glance, it may seem as though the Song of Solomon expresses romantic love between a man and a woman. But when we take a closer look at the Song of Solomon, we can see that it actually helps us realize just how much God loves His people and workers. The Song of Solomon is written so wonderfully that it makes us wonder if there is any poet in this world who could ever describe his beloved woman as beautifully as it does. I don’t think there is anyone who could do this. Yet we see such a beautiful poem here in today’s Scripture reading only because it was written under God’s inspiration, for God is the Almighty, good, and merciful Lord of love.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

7. With Whom Does The Lord Work? (Song of Solomon 5:1-16)
Warm greetings to all! Tomorrow, Deacon Minsoo and his wife, who have been working in the Seoul Church, will arrive here and start carrying out God’s work together with us. God has saved us from all the sins of the world through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, and we all know that we must carry out God’s work by faith trusting in His righteousness. So let us work diligently, trusting that God will bless our overseas missionary works by faith. Today’s Scripture reading comes from Song of Solomon chapter 5.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

8. In Whom Is God Interested in? (Song of Solomon 6:1-13)
We just read the Song of Solomon chapter 6 for today’s Scripture reading. Here the Lord is speaking to His brides. When the Lord saw His brides working in the vineyard, they looked so lovely to Him that He praised them. Today, I would like to share the Word with you on the following question: In whom is God interested in? Today’s Scripture reading from the Song of Solomon can be broken down into three main messages.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

10. We Are God’s Cherished And Honored People (Song of Solomon 6:1-13)
We just read Song of Solomon 6:1-14 for today’s Scripture reading. This Song of Solomon is a poetic expression of the loving relationship between God and His workers. The key protagonists in this Scripture are Solomon and the Shulamite woman. The love whispered by these two manifests the love between God and His servants. The Song of Solomon makes no mention of the name Jesus Christ. However, God included it in the Old Testament in order to explain to us what kind of relationship God has with His servants.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

9. God Loves Us as He Loved The Shulamite Woman (Song of Solomon 6:1-4)
Warm greetings to you all! I am hoping this winter will be over soon so that spring can arrive. Nowadays we can buy flowers even during the dead of the winter, but I still wish the spring would come around sooner. I can’t wait for the weather to turn warmer, the ice to melt away, and the flowers to blossom in the fields.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

11. God’s Blessings Belong to Those Who Have United Themselves With God’s Heart (Song of Solomon 7:1-13)
Warm greetings to you all. I am very happy to see you here. Today is the last day of January, and February is just right around the corner. The long winter is at last coming to its end. Today’s Scripture passage comes from Song of Solomon chapter 7. The key message here is that God loves all His workers who are devoted to the gospel work of the water and the Spirit. God is head over heels in love with each and every worker who is now carrying out His work. It’s written in Song of Solomon 7:1: “How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O prince’s daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, The work of the hands of a skillful workman.” This passage is spoken to God’s workers. Elsewhere in Isaiah 52:7, God said: “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news.” God is smitten by His workers because their hearts are set on spreading the gospel, and are also seeking ways to devote themselves to supporting this gospel ministry.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

12. Empty Your Heart Often If You Want to Receive the Lord’s Love (Song of Solomon 7:1-13)
All of us gathered here have just read Song of Solomon chapter 7 for today’s Scripture reading. This passage does an excellent job of describing just how much our Lord loves His workers. Even though the Lord loved us so much that He offered Himself up to be our perfect propitiation, there are many times when we fail to live up to this amazing love while working for the Lord. So, we are compelled to confess our shortcomings and profess our faith before the righteousness of the Lord. Although we are all lovely and precious in the Lord’s eyes, we also have the duty to please His heart. That’s because we are now carrying out the Lord’s work.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

13. What Do You Need To Live out Your Faith? (Song of Solomon 8:8-14)
Earlier today we ruminated on the Song of Solomon, and this evening also, I would like to continue to share the Word of God from the Song of Solomon. It’s written in The Song of Solomon 8:8-10: “We have a little sister, And she has no breasts. What shall we do for our sister In the day when she is spoken for? If she is a wall, We will build upon her A battlement of silver; And if she is a door, We will enclose her With boards of cedar. I am a wall, And my breasts like towers; Then I became in his eyes As one who found peace.” In my previous sermon I explained to you what it means to lead a life of faith. This evening, I would like to address what you need to live out your faith.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35

14. How to Lead a Genuine Life of Faith (Song of Solomon 8:1-7)
Warm greetings to you all. I am very glad to see you here today. This week we began making our gospel e-Books available on Kindle, an electronic device developed by Amazon.com to display e-Books and other digital media. We have stocked many gospel books on Amazon.com in both paper and electronic versions. Today I heard that four copies of one of our Spanish e-Books were sold on Amazon.com. Christians all over the world have paid to download our gospel e-Books that hold the righteousness of God. We are all very grateful to our God for this. How wonderful would it be if Christians throughout the whole world were to download and read our gospel books? Reading our gospel books will surely help them a great deal in their spiritual growth.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/ https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35
