Ep 4 - The Forbidden Dance of Law and Crime: The Worst of Evil Kdrama

Welcome to Soul Screen, a podcast for everything kdrama, where we tell stories of love, betrayal, and redemption. Today, I'm going to tell you the story of Ji Chang-wook and Wi Ha-jun, two men who found themselves on opposite sides of the law, but who were drawn to each other despite their differences. Ji Chang-wook was a police officer, one of the best undercover operatives in the country. His latest assignment was to infiltrate a notorious drug cartel and bring them down from the inside. To do this, he would have to become someone else. He would have to become Kwon Seung-ho, a ruthless and ambitious gangster. Wi Ha-jun was the cartel's second-in-command. He was known for his ruthlessness and cunning, but also for his beauty. He used his beauty to his advantage, manipulating and controlling others. As Chang-wook and Ha-jun became closer, Chang-wook found himself drawn to Ha-jun's dark and dangerous allure. He knew that Ha-jun was dangerous, but he couldn't help but be attracted to him. But Chang-wook's mission came first. He had to bring down the cartel, no matter what. And to do that, he had to betray Ha-jun. But when the time came to betray Ha-jun, Chang-wook found himself torn. He had come to care for Ha-jun, even though he knew that Ha-jun was capable of great evil. In the end, Chang-wook was forced to make a difficult choice. He could either betray Ha-jun and bring down the cartel, or he could stand by Ha-jun and risk everything. What happened next? That's a story for another day. But I can tell you that the love between Chang-wook and Ha-jun was forbidden, passionate, and dangerous. It was a love that tested their limits and forced them to confront the darkness within themselves. If you're interested in learning more about the story of Chang-wook and Ha-jun, I encourage you to watch the new Disney+ K-drama, The Worst of Evil. It's a gripping crime thriller with a complex and forbidden love story at its heart.
