For SensuCast 046, we welcome a truly special, and deeply missed, guest: the legendary KERSO. As we depart the one-year mark of his passing, we continue to remember him in our own special way. As a DJ, a mentor to many, and an influencer (before it was a thing), Kerso was a pillar of the scene, whose passion was matched only by the depth of his knowledge. His record collection was legendary, easily rivalling anyone's, ranging from the rarest and most sought after Northern Soul, through every varying style of House and Techno. To honour his immense legacy, this posthumous mix is a personal tribute. We have woven together four of our favourite mixes of his into one continuous journey. This special arrangement showcases his impeccable taste. We begin with a mix of Moodymann/KDJ only joints that takes us into a fun and interesting look through the Circulation back catalogue. The second half is focused on two of his healthy obsessions. Jeff mills and underground Resistance. A legend forever. Rest in Power, Kerso.
