Ever heard of the 50-30-20 budgeting tool? This practice suggests that 50% of your finances should go to your needs (rent, food, car), 30% should go to your wants (movies, dining out, new shoes), and 20% should go to your investments (401(k), RothIRA, saving for a house).
I adapted this strategy to manage our busy schedules. In this episode I break down how you can dedicate 50% of your time to what you need to do (work and making money), 30% to what you want to do (hang out with friends, go on TikTok), and 20% to what you DREAM to do (write a book, learn a new language). This is going to be a gamechanger when you outline your week and find space to do what you truly desire in this life.
