Casting Crowns published a song titled Life Songs. How can our one life become a song that stirs the hearts of others? First we may need to be stirred by His songs and promises that ignite our hearts to praise.

Repentance is freedom and a sweet privilege. Luke 7:47 says, “ one who is forgiven little,loves little but one who is forgiven much, loves much. Repentance is necessary, because we are prone to wander and God desires that we will become more like Jesus, so that we can accomplish our purpose in this world.

We can learn to overcome the stronghold of fear and accomplish all God has called us to do in our lives. Hear a short account of my struggle with this and God’s answer to a calm and well balanced mind.

Once we see something in our heart, we will conceive it. Just like a mother births a baby conceived in her womb, we will conceive what the Word says if we picture it in our hearts.

In this episode I share a testimony of how God brought me to understand how to overcome in prayer. We are all called to have a relationship with God through conversations with Him. There was a time when I needed more power in prayer to overcome the enemy and go through the trials of life. If you need to grow in confidence in prayer, I pray my testimony will encourage you.

There are so many benefits that come from having a fear of God. He will give us an undivided heart when we understand He asks our reverence and honor for our own good.

Listen to scriptures you can pray when you are feeling anxiety, fear, struggling to sleep or feeling discouraged and unsettled. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Put your trust in His promises and His Word.

God has given us many great and precious promises in His Word. When going through a severe trial, He knows what’s best for us. Grab paper and pen and write down these references.

Romans 10:17 “ Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Belief and trust in Jesus and His Words is how we have faith to believe for healing.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. When you go to a physician, they may give you a medication and tell you to take it three times a day. In Proverbs we read that God’s Word is like medicine and healing to our flesh. Meditate on these scriptures that I’ve read in first person as a declaration of faith. I know hope faith will rise in your heart.Like medication, take these words and meditate on them 3 x a day. Increase your faith to believe. Note: ( one scripture I read I mistakenly said “ my word” not “ Your Word”. So sorry

Wondering what 2023 might bring and possibly feeling weary after the trials of 2022? It has been my experience that a time of reflection is helpful as we enter into a new year. I hope these words will encourage you to welcome all God might have in store for you in 2023.
