Episode 5: Start with Strengths
So much of our time parenting neurodivergent children is focused on redirection and deficits. We want to fix and help in and out of school so they can flourish and all of that is of course, laudable. Yet if all children see and hear are redirections and deficits day in day out, the results can be soul crushing. In the episode we look at ways to focus on the positive and create connections that celebrate strengths and build self-esteem.
