For the first time, Charlene and Emma members of JEMS (Justice for Every Mistreated Survivor) tell their stories how even after the verdict, the harassment doesn’t end: abusers’ supporters, online groups, and even family members continue to target them. Never having the peace to deal with their trauma, Emma and Charlene are constantly harassed and being forced to relive their trauma over and over again. This is not just Emma and Charlene's story, its there reality. And a reality for many, many women out there.
Charlene and Emma found power in finding each other—how a single TikTok post led to the creation of JEMS, a community where survivors can finally be heard, understood, and supported. How being part of JEMS has helped them through the darkest times, they are coming together and speaking on this podcast for more women to come forward and they are fighting together to ensure that survivors are heard, protected, and empowered.
