Plus, The Athletic’s senior NFL insider Dianna Russini shares an update on Cincinnati Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson. The 2024 NFL sack leader is seeking a contract extension, but so far has not agreed to any offers from the Bengals. Monday, Russini confirmed the report that the Bengals are listening to trade offers for the All-Pro. Cincinnati is reportedly seeking a young defensive player and a 2026 first-round pick for Hendrickson.
The Scoop City team continues to monitor the Terry McLaurin contract talks. The Washington Commanders' top wide receiver was recently activated off the PUP list as he continues to seek a new contract. The next step for him is a return to practice. As of the taping of this episode, McLaurin and the Commanders have not agreed to a new deal.

The NFL offseason training is officially upon us. This week teams around the league are meeting for voluntary OTAs. And for one star wide receiver, attendance is both a good sign for his team, but also a bit of damage control. This offseason the New England Patriots signed veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a 3-year deal. Diggs, who is coming off a torn ACL, recently went viral on social media. On Monday, Diggs was in attendance as the Patriots convened for voluntary training periods. Former NFL QB, Chase Daniel, and The Athletic's National NFL Writer, Mike Jones, discuss Diggs' participation.
Additionally, the Detroit Lions will be forced to replace another veteran offensive lineman. Frank Ragnow informed the team that he will retire from football at the age of 29-years old. Ragnow was a four-time Pro-Bowl selection.
Elsewhere around the league, Kirk Cousins did not show up to the Atlanta Falcons voluntary OTAs. Jones reported on the show that the Falcons have explored trade options for Cousins, but nothing has materialized into a deal yet. He also reported the Falcons would be content keeping Cousins as the backup, valuing his experience as a starter.
The Buffalo Bills are hoping their star running back, James Cook, will show up for the mandatory sessions. Thus far this offseason, Cook has declined to attend the voluntary practices.
