In this episode Govind, Prasad and Sarath talk about a popular WhatsApp forward message on the claim that seven days of the week were invented by ancient Indian astronomers and the rest of the world stole it from them. They debunk these claims based on Surya Siddhanta and Aryabhatiya and discuss how this came to India from Greece. They also talk about a newly created pseudo-intellectual project called 'Indic renaissance' which mixes fact with fiction and myth with history to create fake narratives of ancient India with an agenda to create propaganda, and how such content is being translated into regional languages to spread misinformation further. They unpack the possibility and plausibility of time travel from a scientific perspective, distinguishing time travel to future with time travel to past.
