Just call us Hoda and Jenna because we had to step into our BIG journalists BAG with our guest Nate, who has taken the crown as stand-out favorite reporter of the iconic Angeleno, Issa Rae. While you may have seen many of his viral moments all over social media and the likes of all of Hollywood's top outlets, as he's one of the most relatable and down-right exceptional people to grace a premiere red carpet, Nate took some time to chat with us about how a focused and fervent young Floridian landed in Los Angeles, in the entertainment business. This installment we played no games in discussing the biggest topic of this summer, with V.P. Kamala Harris vying for the presidency, the 2024 Olympics, a recent Kim Burrell apology, homie hopping, and much more!

This past year, in our venture with our podcast, we definitely embarked on something that has surpassed what we even imagined could happen our first year doing this. From going viral on Twitter, gaining recognition worldwide, and just simply learning more about ourselves, we THANK YOU for taking the time to subscribe and tap in with SMDD.
Now, this episode we look back on 2023, discuss this past holiday season and what it means to be with family, and we also talk about social media personalities Mrs. Netta & Charles, the late legend Little Richard and how he single-handedly changed the landscape of music, whether Beyonce is the Queen of Rap and much more.

DING DONG…so we’re officially in the holiday season and what better way to bring in the season of family and love than with the latest episode featuring the soon-to-be-newlyweds Dr. Matthew Brinkley and writer David Brandyn. The couple recently launched their World Of Wonder featured series ‘Sissy That Psyche’ which takes a dive into past RuPal’s Drag Race episodes through the lens of a mental health perspective. Surely becoming fixtures for the Black queer community, both Matt and David have also stepped into the spotlight in the social media space as creators of content focused on debunking many taboos in the culture which include being in a healthy open relationship. Also in this episode, Same Mom Different Dads touch on some of the most talked about topics from Britney Spears’ memoir release, the sexual assault allegations against Dwight Howard, which holidays they rock with the most, and much more.
