TUESDAY - Confidence and Humility

Confidence and humility can be challenging to balance, yet they are essential traits to maintaining healthy relationships with others. To be confident means believing in yourself and your capabilities while also recognising the strengths of those around you. Humility means acknowledging that you don't have all the answers and being open to learning from mistakes without feeling less worthy. Both qualities should be embraced to build self-confidence, respect for others, and positive relationships within one's community.

The first step in achieving this balance is developing an understanding of yourself. Take time to reflect on your successes and challenges; use this knowledge to identify personal growth areas where confidence can take root. Having a clear sense of who you are and what you can do is key to self-confidence.

Humility should also be a part of this process—acknowledge there may always be something new to learn and don't be afraid to ask for help or advice. Open yourself up to feedback from

those around you, whether it's a mentor or a trusted friend. Ask how their perspectives differ from yours and welcome conversations about differences in opinion. This allows building on your existing strengths while learning more about yourself in the process.

To maintain a balance between confidence and humility, focus on being kind to yourself when mistakes are made. We all make mistakes, but they shouldn't define us, nor should they cause us to doubt our self-worth. When a failure does occur, please take it as an opportunity to learn and grow; focus on the lessons learned rather than dwelling on the mistake itself.

Confidence and humility are two qualities that can help build strong relationships with others. Work to find a balance between the two to develop self-awareness and respect for those around you. In this way, you can be confident and humble—and live a life of greater understanding.

Be confident in yourself and your abilities but resist the need to broadcast it to those around you.

Remember, just because you are the biggest in the room, it doesn't mean you have to be the biggest in the room.
