In a very special episode, the WHOLE crew is back to reminisce on just how special it is for the Chicago Fire to finally make it back to the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
Nick is here to help the Bois navigate through the complicated (but fairly simple) issues surrounding MLS support this season. But also, some wrestling talk, some learning about Korean phonics, and a quick NFL season preview.
The Bois get back together to talk about the month of Chicago Fire soccer that they've missed. But not before discussing a lot of NFL hot takes and anime horse girls.
Tim's a bit late, but he's HERE to help the Sad Bois discuss all the important things. Things like the Fire's new stadium, the Chicago (Red) Stars' organizational struggles, and whether or not Jiggly would die if he attempted a backflip.
We talk a bit about the Chicago Fire's amazing run recently and what they need to keep it going. But mostly we discuss Jiggly's trip to Hongdae, the new College Football game, and how referees may not deserve rights.
CHICAGO POPE CHICAGO POPE CHICAGO POPE
Jiggly teaches us all about the implications of Pope Leo XIV (or, "Pope Bob"), Adnan's life has absolutely no meaning to it, and the Fire still can't find a win at home.
In an episode more about football and hockey than it is about the Chicago Fire, the Bois discuss various misadventures in their travels. Adnan makes it into the press box at Bremen and Jiggly laced up some ice skates for the first time. And that was all after Sergio Oregel absolutely shut down Messi in the Fire's 0-0 draw a couple weeks back.
This is the first episode in which both Jiggly and Adnan are in a bathroom at the same time. Not the same bathroom.
Also, the Fire are good now, it's weird.
In quite possibly the shortest episode ever, the Bois hop onto a call directly after a Fire game while each are in the middle of their own "tutorial" arcs. Just some quick talk about the open of the Fire's season, the Bears' third consecutive "Best Offseason" award, and some news about the K2 League.
Jiggly's in Korea now. The Fire season is about to start. Joe Chatz is here. Could this be the end of Sad Bois FC?
This episode starts fairly normal with Jiggly talking about film and art for way too long. Then there's some soccer stuff, sure.
Then the last half hour of the episode is the audio of Jiggly demolishing Adnan in 2k.
The Bois are finally in the same room together to do an episode! And we brought along Tim! Audio quality is terrible, but the vibes are palpable.
There is literally no news to report.
The Chiefs are in the Super Bowl again. Nothing ever happens.
Also, the Fire signed a few dudes and Bremen is still in 9th.
Sad Bois is back again! Now it's everyone's problem.
The Chicago Fire will be liquidated on New Year's Eve and we will be free from the curse.
Jiggly's still trying to process the second season of Arcane, Adnan's found his love of College Football again, and nobody wants to watch this season's MLS Cup.
Yo, but imagine if he actually were tho.
We talk way too long about that.
This week has been rough and there's not much soccer to even talk about. Yet this episode is still 90 minutes long.
"I love looking at the woodland animals"
Joe Chatz is here.
This episode is a lot, but very informative. Plenty of Fire, NWSL, and Bears talk around here.
