In this episode, we’re catching up on the past couple of weeks—which have been packed with training and exciting events for both of us. Victor visited ON’s headquarters in Zurich and got a firsthand look at their innovative Light Spray process. Meanwhile, Andreas has been up in Åre training hard, and things might finally be turning a corner.
We’ll be taking a short break for vacation, but don’t worry—we’ll be back in full force in early August. Good Stuff ahead!

We're adding something new here at Runners FM—welcome to the very first episode of Training Talks!
These extra episodes within Runners FM are shorter, more training-focused conversations. In this debut episode, Victor sits down with his coach (and our favourite Dane), Mads Taersbøl.
Mads spent the entire month of May up in St. Moritz with one of the world’s top triathletes, and he shares what they've been working on. We also break down the training plan for Victor as he gears up for the Swedish 10,000m Championships at the end of July.
Tune in for a nerdy, fun chat between two running junkies!

In episode 46, we're thrilled to welcome Jakob Åberg, Satisfy Pro Runner, to the studio. In 2023, Jakob won Kullamannen 100, putting a well-deserved spotlight on his name in the ultra community.
Despite being based in Stockholm, Jakob consistently logs impressive weekly mileage and manages to rack up serious elevation gain—how does he do it? We talk about his training strategies, including why he stacks long sessions back-to-back, and how he maintains balance while managing such a high training volume.
Jakob also shares his thoughts on Strava, and gives us insight into how he became part of the Satisfy Pro team. All this and much more—enjoy the episode!

In this episode, Andreas shares an update on his running — and yes, believe it or not, it’s actually progressing. He also talks about his first impressions and experiences with David Grey’s “Hip Program.”
Victor’s fitness is on the rise — but the real question is: could he really run a 10K in 30:30 at any given time?
Special guest Robert Gorgos from MNSTRY Nutrition joins the show to talk about their brand-new Bicarb Gel, which just launched and sold out almost instantly. He shares valuable insights into how bicarbonate can be used to enhance performance and what to think about when creating your own protocol.
To wrap things up, Andreas share some Netflix “must sees”.

Hey dear listeners! Just a quick note—this episode of Runners FM is in Swedish. Up until now, all our episodes have been in English, so we know this might come as a surprise. We truly appreciate all of you tuning in, and while some episodes will now be in Swedish, we’ll continue to release content in English as well. In this episode, we’re joined by our good friend and fellow runner, Daniel Pärmenäs. Over the past few years, Daniel has grown into a focused and formidable marathon runner—but like many athletes, his journey hasn’t been without its challenges.
We dive into his impressive 2:40 finish at the Berlin Marathon, a performance that—looking back—sparked an intense, and at times obsessive, relationship with training. This eventually led to a long period of forced rest due to overtraining, as Daniel worked to understand what was really happening with his body.
He shares his story with honesty and clarity, taking us through the highs and lows of recovery. We also hear Daniel’s vivid account of the Boston Marathon and his mindset as he prepares for the upcoming Stockholm Marathon.

In this episode, newly crowned Swedish ultra distance champion Elov Olsson joins us in the studio!
We dive into his latest race, where he set a new Swedish record in the 24-hour ultra running discipline. This is a deep-dive race report covering everything from energy intake and ultra strategies to preparation, shoe choices, and mental endurance.
We also get into the gritty details—like why Elov chooses to pee himself during 100k races but not in 24-hour events. Is there a dark drive pushing him through these extreme efforts, or is it all just pure joy and passion for the sport?
All that and much more in this unfiltered, honest, and inspiring conversation.

Andreas has been busy with work, and his inability to run lately has started to take a toll on him. Running a podcast is no small task, and recently he's been feeling the strain. He believes it's time to make some changes to keep the show moving forward in a fresh and engaging direction.
Meanwhile, Victor shares an update on his recent running experiences, offering a global running report from his adventures at the Bålsta Stadslopp, the London Marathon, and the Copenhagen Marathon.

This week we have a slightly different podcast format! Andreas is in Slovenia doing a photoshoot so Victor got the honour of hosting the podcast by himself! 😱 To keep the quality of the conversation high he brought in his favourite Dane and coach, Mads Taersboel, to join the fun.
They ran a Q&A covering several training topics including; short hill sprints, heat training, Norwegian Threshold training, HRV measurement, nutrition and much more. Tune in for an extremely nerdy episode full of running knowledge!
