The RUDIS Wrestling Podcast is dedicated to give entertaining and expert analysis on the biggest stories and events in wrestling. Jason Bryant, an award-winning journalist, broadcaster, announcer and National Wrestling Hall of Fame (VA) inductee for Lifetime Service to Wrestling hosts alongside Matt Dernlan. Dernlan joins with a D1 college coaching background and family roots grounded in Ohio wrestling with a collective 10 state titles on the shelf.
It is our mission to continually project the message that wrestling is more than just sport, but rather A WAY OF LIFE. There is no greater way to do that than by representing the merits of the sport while highlighting and outfitting all those who help to write it's story.

Moyer provides an administrative point of view on how the Coronavirus has impact college athletics, as well as institutions in general. Moyer suggests a full restructuring of the institution of college athletics in order to preserve Olympic sporting programs and provides details of how the NWCA is working with other coaches associations in order to advocate for the preservation of Olympic sports as the NCAA prepares to make a decision which could lead to catastrophic cuts across all sports.

#141: Breaking Down the NCAA's 75th Anniversary Team - Lightweights
On this episode of the RUDIS Wrestling Podcast, Matt Dernlan and Jason Bryant break down the 75th Anniversary Team, as presented by the NCAA in conjunction with the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The team, named at the 2005 NCAA Wrestling Championships, is comprised of 15 of the all-time greats, as voted on by college wrestling fans.

A panel of collegiate wrestling experts built a list of 45 former wrestlers, classified in three divisions: lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight. Of the 45 nominees, the top-five vote getters in each division was named to the team. The lightweights named to the team were Fresno State's Stephen Abas, Iowa's Tom Brands, Iowa State's Dan Gable, and Oklahoma State's John Smith. The middleweights consisted of Lee Kemp of Wisconsin, Lincoln McIlravy of Iowa, Wade Schalles of Clarion, Pat Smith of Oklahoma State, and Joe Williams of Iowa. The team was capped off with heavyweights Kurt Angle of Clarion, Ed Banach of Iowa, Pittsburgh-Johnstown's Carlton Haselrig, Dan Hodge of Oklahoma, and Iowa State's Cael Sanderson.

#140: Chris Pendleton Takes the Helm at Oregon State
On this special edition of the RUDIS Wrestling Podcast, Jason Bryant is joined by 2x NCAA Champion at Oklahoma State and new Oregon State University head wrestling coach Chris Pendleton. Pendleton led Arizona State for the past six seasons as an assistant coach under Zeke Jones, and during that time he helped produce countless upper-weight All-Americans. Prior to ASU, Pendleton was an assistant coach at the University of Wyoming for four years. A three-time All-American at Oklahoma State, Pendleton was a member of a Cowboy team for three of the = four consecutive team national titles from 2003-2006.
