This week Rory & Jeff got very excited about the work of Meriem Bennani, in particular her beautiful collaboration with Orian Barki, 2 Lizards.
We spoke at length about lockdown during the Pandemic, video games, tenderness, the point of moving image art, and creating for Instagram. We also had a chat about The Making of Rodin, which is currently Tate Modern, and tangents included Emily Dickinson, Ennui, Jeremy Shaw's Phase Shifting Index, Greb Comics, The Story of Art, and Rory's thoughts on sculpture.

This week Rory & Jeff went on a journey down the rabbit hole of NFTs to learn more about them and what they mean for art.
Since their invention in 2014 NFTs have held great potential for digital art and for equalising the playing field for artists, but why are they everywhere in 2021 and what does does the future hold?
We also got into digital cats, Cryptocurrency, the beginnings of the internet, Blockchains, Banksy, and Beeple (oh my), and we try to answer the age old question: Is Identity Fungible?

This week Rory & Jeff were joined by representatives from Pause or Pay and Crit Club to discuss being at art school in the current climate.
Pause or Pay UK is a UK-wide cross-university action group led by students that emerged in April 2020 as a response to the disruption of studio-based learning by the pandemic.
We also got into our own experiences studying fine art, BANK’s Fax-Back series, maintaining a creative network, the problems with university bureaucracy, the purposes of degree shows, and Jeff spends a lot of time reminiscing about his time in Germany.

This week Rory & Jeff discussed It’s Personal: Episode One, a documentary-reality-tv hybrid, with the directors Lou Macnamara and Kyla Harris. They also talked about Below Deck Med, The Care Manifesto, and Momager Energy.
Kyla requires 24hour care with everything from making artwork to having a wee; struggling with a care shortage during the pandemic, she asks filmmaker friend Lou to swap cameras for catheters and learn how to assist her in a refreshingly personal perspective of the care crisis in Britain today. You can watch Episode 1 of It's Personal, and read Rebekah Taussig's response The Fluidity of Care on the Film and Video Umbrella website - https://www.fvu.co.uk/projects/its-personal
