Pause or Pay UK is a UK-wide cross-university action group led by students that emerged in April 2020 as a response to the disruption of studio-based learning by the pandemic.

We also got into our own experiences studying fine art, BANK’s Fax-Back series, maintaining a creative network, the problems with university bureaucracy, the purposes of degree shows, and Jeff spends a lot of time reminiscing about his time in Germany.

This week Rory & Jeff discussed the annual 30works30days project by 12O Collective, and had an amazing chat with a few of the artists’ who took part. Kyla requires 24hour care with everything from making artwork to having a wee; struggling with a care shortage during the pandemic, she asks filmmaker friend Lou to swap cameras for catheters and learn how to assist her in a refreshingly personal perspective of the care crisis in Britain today.
