Chico Brown was sentenced to life for cocaine drug trafficking, little did he know at the time, he and his partner, Freeway Rick, were actually working for and then set up by the United States government and the CIA. Chico was born and raised in Compton, an Ex member of the notorious gang 'The Crips'. Shot at the age of 12, regularly beating up by police, Chico thought this was the way life was for everyone. Now old and wiser, released from prison on appeal, after serving 10 years. Chico shares his thoughts on the current state of Compton, why Nipsey Hustle was killed and much more. Chico now invests in his community, helping young people make wiser choices than he did. He also has his own production company that he uses to shed light on the reality of gang life.
