The awesome health benefits of RVing and van camping

In Episode 59 of Rolling Home titled, "The beauty and sufficiency of boondocking," I discussed why RVing and van life appeal to campers like me such as the boondocking aspect of it. That’s because boondocking returns campers to a simpler time when self-sufficiency was essential for successful living. I didn’t say much about the health benefits of RVing, and in my case, the self-sufficiency aspect of RV boondocking has on a person’s health. Because no matter how big or small of a rig you travel in there is some aspect of self-sufficiency, right? But RVing and van camping have many great health benefits, as Paul Hemphill of RV Korner reminds us in his insightful article!

Minimalist camping is best in a camper van!

Working from the road is easy in our Winnebago Travato 59G camper van

Working on the road in our Winnebago Travato camper van is unavoidable. In fact, one of the reasons we chose the Travato 59G floor plan was because it was an ideal “office on the road.” Today on Rolling Home we’ll talk about why and how we work efficiently and productively while traveling.

The pros and cons of overnight stealth camping and stealth parking

Most everyone traveling in a small van, SUV, or another vehicle will from time to time need to stop along their route for a quick rest bit of shut-eye. If you're like me when this happens I don't want to pop for a motel room or pay for an RV spot or overnight parking spot when I'll only be occupying the space for a few hours. That's where the need for stealth camping or parking comes in! In this edition of the Rolling Home Podcast, we talk about the pros and cons of stealth camping and parking when traveling.
