Hi, Sister! I am Gena’. A wife, mom, and Jesus lover. For too many years, I experienced what marriage and relationships should not look like, including emotional and physical abuse. For too long, I carried so much shame and emotional trauma that did not serve me. But God. God had a purpose for me, even through the pain, and through Him I have found healing and the courage to share my story. I am on a mission to help other women who have experienced domestic abuse to create and enjoy the abundant life that God has for her.

We are talking today about trauma bonds. This was what I personally didn't understand about not being able to leave or wanting to go back. Understanding trauma bonds is commonly a missing piece of understanding for women in abusive relationships.
