Today’s episode is about one of the most hated people on the internet. If you don’t know, back in 2008 Casey Anthony was involved in a murder case for the death of her own daughter. She was a suspect due to not calling the authorities when her daughter went missing, and eventually found dead. Now, she’s sharing her side of the story and her “legal advice” on tik tok. Delve into this case with us and hear what we have to say about her coming back to the internet.
Sean Kingston and his mom were recently convicted on multiple fraud charges for stealing over $1 million dollars from several business. Their sentencing trial is set for July 11th & the maximum sentence they can get is 20 years each. Crazy. What happened to the wholesome lil guy who sang with the Biebs? We talk about the charges & more in this episode
Hailey Bieber might be the only girl to have succeeded in dating her celebrity crush (in our generation, anyway). Is it even worth it though if you have to go through all that effort just to get him to like you? We don’t entirely believe the rumours about the drama, but you can’t deny some stuff is weird. Like Justin saying on The Ellen Show that in hindsight he believes it was an arranged marriage. We break down the drama in this episode & talk about why forcing your partnerships is bad! :D
We had such a great conversation with Regina musical talent Melodna. This r&b/rap/afrobeats artist shares her insights on creating music. Do you remember that girl from Dr. Phil who said “catch me outside how bout dat”?? Well, she’s a rapper now and is currently in a feud with Alabama Barker, Travis Barker’s daughter (and Kourtney Kardashian’s step-daughter). In this episode, we talk about their diss tracks, Kanye and the Kardashians involvement, and how Bhad Bhabie’s ex Le Vaughn is a major factor in this drama. We will say it is pretty entertaining.
Catch us Monday for another interview with a Saskatchewan based rap/r&b/aftobeats artist! (Too be announced)
Lots of questions surrounding this movie…specifically, “why?”. Emilia Pérez has been cleaning up nearly every award category in not just the recent Oscars, but the Academy Awards, Cannes, and other festivals. Despite its recognition with the different committees, though, it’s received tons of backlash since it’s become available to audiences. Some criticisms include racist stereotypes of Mexican culture, tokenism when it comes to trans people, and no one from the movie utilizing their platform to actually speak about trans-rights/issues
We just found out that in the U.S., it is illegal to communicate with dolphins?! Aside from not wanting to harass or harm the wildlife, there are theories that they have information about alien life in the ocean?? Also there are cases of people being able to communicate with dolphins telepathically??
Aside from these wild theories, we also discuss interesting facts about dolphins, such as their involvement in the navy and their overall intellect.
Join in on our conversation about this fascinating animal!
This week we had a great interview with Prince Albert band Cupids Heart! We talked about their music, including their new single “Get Up (& Dance). There have been SO many bizarre instances with airplanes lately! From plane crashes in Brazil, South Korea and Hawaii within the past month! To plane parts suddenly catching on fire! And flights going missing completely! One instance even involves Vince Neil from Mötley Crüe?? What is going on??
Deep dive into some weird occurrences happening recently involving aircraft with us.
Okay honestly, what is HAPPENING in the world right now? Specifically in the States. Are you guys okay?? We know most of our listeners live there (thx analytics). We live in Canada, but right now there is tons of concern from countries outside of the US about what's going on...most notably from Germany...which is not a good sign. In this episode we talk about the TikTok ban in America that happened for less than a day after significant public pushback, as well as some other stuff they've been banning- like books and restricting the public from learning about LGBTQ rights or gendered social norms. Remember folks!! Knowledge is power!! Read, listen, write, protest! Most importantly, pay attention to where your money is going and what it's funding! Power to the people b!tches.
