Episode 35 - Half Baked - Tamra Davis

Director Tamra Davis (Billy Madison, Dead to Me) comes on the show to relive the making of one of our favorite stoner comedies, Half Baked.

This really paved the way for future weed movies, and Tamra's work always resonated with us from all her early music videos (Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth, NWA).

In 1986 she shot one of the only interviews with her friend Jean-Michel Basquiiat, which went unseen for 20 years, being released in 2006. Tamra is a creative force and so cool to hear what went into this ultimate comedy classic, plus a young Chappelle!

We spoke to the magical crime-fighting actor & writer Lance Crouther, who plays the man himself... Pootie Tang!! We must have watched this no less than 50 times, quoting almost every scene. Lots of cool new making of stories, the origin of Pootie, and what went into the making of this fantastic absurd comedy. A must listen for all the fans. WHAT A TA!!

Episode 33 - Love, Antosha - Garret Price

Director and Editor Garret Price comes on the show, to talk about Love, Anthosha. This documentary is super special as it celebrates the extraordinary life and career of actor Anton Yelchin.

We always remembered Anton from all his performances like Star Trek, Odd Thomas, Like Crazy, Fight Night and he always jumped off the screen. Really incredible to see how loved he was, and was a true artist in every way. This documentary really does it right, and portrays his life the way Anton would have wanted it. Major props to Garret on this one.
