Mr. Sonam Tshering joins us all the way from Thimpu, Bhutan for this episode! He is an engineer, climate action advocate, long-time government employee serving in a host of leadership positions, and a true changemaker in the Bhutanese climate-change vision, policy and practitioner landscape. Mr. Tshering served as the head of Bhutan's power sector for many years, and played an influential role in bringing about key reforms that have since shaped the country's climate change outlook. On this episode, he is joined by Rizolve co-founder Kavyaa, filling in for host Raunak, to discuss the specifics of Bhutan's power sector reforms, climate action, and the key philosophies and attitudes that he believes make Bhutan a successful model for tackling the challenge of climate change in the South Asian region.
