We are told that democracy is about free elections, political rights, and the ability to express dissent. Governments boast about democratic values, pointing to ballot boxes, constitutions, and parliaments as proof of people’s rule.
Who is the budget for? The trick of capitalism and Brahmanism. They convince you to cheer for your own exploitation. They tell you that poverty is natural, inequality is inevitable, caste oppression is a thing of the past.
In this episode I talk about freedom. How the oppressors misunderstand it and distort their understanding. Oppressing the marginalised is freedom for the oppressors.
This is a speech inspired from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "Where do we go from here?" applied in the context of marginalised castes of India. Hope this was encouraging.
