A tribute to North Carolina’s Military Fallen Heroes and Their Families. Relay Team to Cover One Mile for Each Fallen Service Member in Tribute Run from Fort Liberty, Fayetteville, NC to Camp Lejeune, NC. 🇺🇸✨🏃♀️🏃
Fayetteville, NC – Beginning the third weekend in May, Honor and Remember Inc. established the North Carolina Run for the Fallen, to call attention to and honor the men and women who have died as a result of serving the war on terror.
The run team will stop at each “Hero Marker” HM (each mile marker) to give individual tribute to waiting Gold Star family members, friends, and comrades. The goal of the event is to create a 127-mile memorial trail through North Carolina to honor and read the names of over 640 Fallen Heroes.
The names and North Carolina Hero Markers can be found here 👉 https://bit.ly/Hero_Search. Please contact us if you know of someone who may be missing by email to NorthCarolina@RunfortheFallen.org.
