In these lines, Abu Firaas continues to rebuke his cousin Saif-ud-Dawlah for leaving him in prison after he had the opportunity to free him. However, he begins to warn of coming problems that exist among the family that will become bigger if they are not dealt with.

In these lines, Abu Firaas is expressing his anger at his cousin leaving him in prison after he had the opportunity to free him.

In these lines Abu Firaas talks about the people of his time. People have become so attached to their desires that it is difficult to find somebody that you can trust. If you are an honest person, and you are noble and dignified in your character, you will have a difficult time finding close companions that you can trust.

Abu Firaas switches focus from talking about men that become under the control of females to friends. He talks about friends and he talks about qualities that he deems himself to have that are important for a person to have to be successful.

The main focus here is that a person focuses on big goals that he or she needs to achieve and not just giving himself to following his desires.

This is the introduction for this lesson. I speak briefly about Abu Firaas and the situation surrounding him at the time of writing the poem. I read the poem at the end. Note: I advise people to check out the link of the poem that I made a community post of because the poem that I was reading from did not have the tashkeel, so I made a few mistakes in the reading.
