Whatever loss I have suffered through indecision, Father, have mercy on me and bless me. Holy Spirit, help me not to rush to make wrong decisions. Amen

However, the last few weeks, it’s been raining cats and dogs in my part of the world, and honestly, I’ve done some serious whining about it. Join me today and let's learn together how to walk in the rain!

I think you would have to admit that everything looks more beautiful when clothed in a layer of snow. You have to wonder if the Lord had this in mind when He instructed Isaiah to write these words – "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

As I was walking with Jesus this morning, I was thinking about how differently people tend to react to unpleasant circumstances and wondering exactly what does make the difference in our responses. I found the answer in a neighbors front yard . . . it’s ROOTS! Are you firmly planted today in your faith today?
Stumbling-blocks are not about right and wrong. It’s about focusing less on what we have the “right to do” and more on what we “can choose to do” to strengthen and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ. Over the past couple of years, I have been going out to walk each day and coming in when I reach my goal. Join me today, as we talk about the Old Testament concept of going out and coming in to the powerful, presence of God through worship.
Did you look up one day and realize that your children had grown up and started this thing call "adulting" and you had no idea when it happened or how to navigate through this phase of their life? Join me today as I share my "Mama Heart" with you. You are not alone!
Hey friends- thanks for joining me as we walk and talk with Jesus today! I used to believe that it was possible to “fake it till you make it”- and maybe that's true for some things in life, but when it comes to our walk with Christ, let's get real. It's not about pretending that we always say and do the rights things all of the time- it's about admitting that we are all sinners and need a Savior.
I once heard someone say, “If you want to make God laugh, just tell him your plans!” Proverbs 16:9 says, "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps". In other words, if you think you have it all figured out, don't be surprised if God doesn't come along and start recalculating!
