There are so many beliefs about a New Year being a “magical” moment where everything can change in your life. A blank slate to be someone new! Is that realistic?
It’s a beautiful way to look at things but I believe it’s a fairy tale that has no truth to it.
Changing your calendar to January 1st doesn’t make you a new person. If you decide you want to make changes it’s because you have changed your mindset of what you see as important and you are moving towards that goal.
Has fear been running your life? Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of not measuring up, fear of missing out, fear of not fitting in…..
It’s time to step out of fear and demolish its control on you! You are in control of your life and it’s time to start acting like it.
Do the hard things necessary to get to the other side of it and start trusting yourself that you can.
In our fast paced world it’s time to slow down and be more present in the moment we are in. We need to recognize the chatter that is paving its way through our minds.
Now is the time to change our subconscious to our conscious. To notice the thoughts going through our heads at every moment. To flip the script and change our comfort zone. To change where our minds are allowing us to stop.
It’s time to take the reigns of our life and step out of fear!
Now is the time to make the changes that you need to make to push you closer to where you want to be. If not now, then when?
