In this episode, Hilda shares her journey, being born and raised in Cameroon, West Africa, living with muscular dystrophy, and eventually losing mobility in all of her limbs. She recounts her family’s desperate search for healing through diviners and healing evangelists, her experiences with discrimination and abuse, and her crisis of faith. Despite not receiving physical healing, Hilda encountered the grace of God that transformed her heart. She went on to become the first national broadcaster and journalist with a disability for Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV). Hilda is also an advocate for persons with disability, a published author, a singer, and a mouth painter. Hilda’s life is a testament to how hope can overcome hardships, and God can be glorified even in our weaknesses. Hilda documents her journey in the memoir “The Girl with Special Shoes.” Get a copy on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4jbyIlV
