Do you ever find yourself searching for answers on why you had to go through the hard times in your life? Yeah… We have too but God has revealed to us that the hard times weren’t for nothing. Hey Reckless to Redeemed fam we are finally back and have missed you all so much! These past 8 months have been full of ups and downs but one thing we know for sure is God always remains faithful to us. He will always walk by our side no matter if we are on top of the mountain or walking in a dark valley. We are excited to share with you everything that has been going on in our lives these past few months but most importantly share HOW GREAT OUR GOD IS!

The best gift you could ever receive while walking this earth is the gift of salvation to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father! God freely offers it to us by having faith in the one He sent to die for humanity. His son Jesus! There is nothing we can do to earn it and nothing we can do to lose it. We’ve all struggled with body image in some sort of way but it’s time to change our perspective. Take a moment and imagine the way your Heavenly Father looks at you. He sees you as His beautiful creation and cherishes you beyond human comprehension. We need to learn to honor God’s beautiful creation and stop putting ourselves down. We can always strive to take better care of ourselves but while we’re walking on that journey of making better choices, we need to be content in where we’re at and seek God’s guidance to help us through it by thanking Him for creating us fearfully and wonderfully made!

Season 1 has come to an end friends and we are so blessed that God has paved the way for us to have this podcast and share the good news of Jesus Christ with you all! We are so thankful for the love and support from our amazing listeners and all the encouraging words you gave us on this journey! Another big thank you to Kayla and Lindsey for being vulnerable and sharing their testimonies with the world! You both are a walking testimony of the miraculous works of Jesus and we’re so blessed to have had you apart of our show. We understand how hard it is to be a parent. We understand the struggle of feeling overstimulated, overwhelmed, and stressed. Being the light for our children can be so difficult at times but the good news is we are never alone in our struggle. Jesus is our perfect example of a perfect Father and He is always by your side to help guide you through your parenting journey. When we are feeling like we don’t have the strength to be the parents we strive to be that’s when we need to get to the feet of Jesus and ask for His help and guidance. He will never turn His back on His children and we also need to follow His example. We need to be there for our children through the good times and hard times. We are responsible for the next generation and we need to raise up our children to always put on the armor of God and get to the feet of Jesus!

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 In today’s episode, we are discussing why forgiving others and yourself is so important. Harboring hate in your heart only produces bitterness. Forgiveness can be such a tough thing to do sometimes but the freedom and healing that comes from giving all your struggles to God makes it so worth it.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23 In today’s episode, we are discussing the fruits of the spirit and how we have personally seen these characteristics produce in our lives. We have witnessed the desires of our flesh be conquered by the Holy Spirit and we are so excited to share this with you! God can truly transform anyone! Give your life to Jesus and see how your heart changes and your desires change. We never thought we would be able to turn away from our fleshly desires but our amazing God revealed His strong power over the evil in this world and the transformation He did in our lives is something we cherish everyday!

In today’s episode we are discussing what it’s like to be in spiritual warfare. In 1 Peter 5:8 it says “Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” We need to be putting on the armor of God daily so we are always ready to fight the devil when he is trying to attack!

One of the biggest lies Satan tries to use is that you still have plenty of time. In today’s episode, we are discussing how tomorrow is never promised. Our clock is still ticking which means God’s purpose for our lives is still being fulfilled. If you don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus you will be blinded by the things of this world and never reach your calling that God intended for you. In James 4:14 it says “You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” Don’t let your time on earth slip away by letting the devil tell you “There is still plenty of time to be saved later.” You always need to be ready and equipped to meet your creator God Almighty at any moment because you never know when that time may come!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians 5:17 In todays episode, Lizzie is discussing why you need to stop dwelling on your past mistakes in a negative way. She struggled many years feeling regretful and embarrassed by her actions but God reminded her she is no longer that person by showing her it was time to forgive herself and move forward. God is now using her testimony to bring glory to the redemptive work He did in her life! She wants everyone who may feel ashamed of their bad past to remember that it does NOT define the person you are today. Jesus defines you! God can take any testimony and use it to glorify His kingdom because YOUR STORY HAS A PURPOSE! Feeling defeated in life? Does the darkness keep overshadowing the light? Well, Jesus found us in our despair and stepped in to fight the battles our flesh couldn’t bare. The enemy tried to distract us from the real truth behind our alcoholism and disguised it as the only way to have fun in life. Jesus revealed to us that He had so much more in store for us and pulled us out of our destructive lifestyle that was holding us captive for over 10 years.

Today Lizzie is sharing her personal testimony about the constant mistakes she made over and over for many years and how running away from her problems seemed like the only option. The enemy had a strong grip on her mental health which caused depression, anxiety, and no sense of direction or purpose. During the hard times she turned to alcohol to try to fill the emptiness in her heart. It wasn’t until Jesus broke the chains that she turned her past mistakes into a testimony glorifying His name.
