BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM
People with low self-esteem tend to see the world as a hostile place and themselves as its victim. As a result, they are reluctant to express and assert themselves, miss out on experiences and opportunities, and feel powerless to change things. All this lowers their self-esteem still further, sucking them into a downward spiral. If you feel that you suffer from poor self-esteem, there are a number of simple things that you can do to boost yourself.

WAYS ON BUILDING YOUR SELF CONFIDENCE
Low self-esteem can be deeply rooted, with origins in traumatic childhood experiences such as prolonged separation from parent figures, neglect, or emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. In later life, self-esteem can be undermined by ill health, negative life events such as losing a job or getting divorced, deficient or frustrating relationships, and a general sense of lack of control. This sense of lack of control may be especially marked in victims of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, or victims of discrimination on the grounds of religion, culture, race, sex, or sexual orientation. If you feel that you suffer from poor self-esteem, there are a number of simple things that you can do to boost yourself and, hopefully, break out of the downward spiral. You may already be doing some of these things, and you certainly don’t need to be doing them all. Just do those that you feel most comfortable with.  Listen to this Episode as we give you ways on how to build your self confidence. https://1-stop-surplus.myshopify.com/ http://chinitafilipina.com/

REAL TALK: LETTING GO OF A RELATIONSHIP

But what you do with that hurt is probably more important than the hurt itself. Would you prefer to get back to being an active liver of life? Or do you prefer to ruminate endlessly about the past and something that cannot be changed? In short, how do you let go of past hurts and move on? Let’s find out… on this Episode. https://1-stop-surplus.myshopify.com/ http://chinitafilipina.com/

SELF WORTH: WHEN HE SAYS ITS COMPLICATED WHAT HE REALLY MEANS?
Ladies! Being a strong woman, when the person you love says “its complicated what does he really means.”    It’s complicated – I’m not talking about changing your Facebook relationship status to “It’s complicated” after getting into a fight with your SO. If you’re at that elementary level in your relationships – a major reality check needs to implode on your Love life. It sounds a little laughable, doesn’t it? The infamous “sort of” relationship is not easily defined, yet is frequently exercised.  I’m talking about the fact you’re with someone who’s “married “, yet tells you over and over that he’s getting that divorce in order to be with you – which still has yet to happen. And his response is always the same – “Look, it’s complicated…” It’s the situation when you’re “with” someone, but you’re not with him or her in the fully committed fashion. It’s essentially relationship purgatory. There are several reasons why we create these odd companionship: “It’s just not a good time for more,” “We aren’t ready to get back together, but we aren’t broken up,” “I’m not looking for a serious relationship,” “We’re just keeping it casual.” And all that Bullshit reason.  Listen up on this Episode as we talk about your self worth.  Promo Code: CHINITA  1-Stop Surplus.myshopify.com  https://1-stop-surplus.myshopify.com/

RAISING AN INTERNET SAFETY SAVVY KID IN DIGITAL AGE
In a world where children are "growing up digital," it's important to help them learn healthy concepts of digital use and citizenship. Parents play an important role in teaching these skills.  Know the value of face-to-face communication. Very young children learn best through two-way      communication. Conversations can be face-to-face or, if necessary, by video chat with a traveling parent or far-away grandparent. Research has      shown that it's that "back-and-forth conversation" that improves language skills—much more so than "passive" listening or one-way interaction with a screen.     You know Children now a days are growing up in a completely different world. Children everywhere are gaining access to the internet – most often via a mobile phone. In many places, too, parents are feeling challenged in their competence, role and authority. That is what we’re gonna talk about on this Episode.  Raising Children in a world of Technology and How are parents responding? PROMO CODE: CHINITA https://1-stop-surplus.myshopify.com/

WHEN BEING MOM IS HARD AF

Being a mom comes with its own unique set of challenges. Number one on that list is the heavy dose of mom guilt that you’re confronted with almost every day. Guilt that you’re missing important moments with your kids when you’re at work, and, on the work front, guilt that your priorities have shifted and work is no longer number one. There are positives as well. You get to use your training and education, challenge yourself intellectually, and stay in touch with who you are beyond “Mom.” But there’s no denying that it’s hard.

LET'S TALK ABOUT DEPRESSION
Depression is more than simply feeling unhappy or fed up for a few days. Most people go through periods of feeling down, but when you're depressed you feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days. Some people think depression is trivial and not a genuine health condition. They're wrong – it is a real illness with real symptoms. Depression isn't a sign of weakness or something you can "snap out of" by "pulling yourself together".

WHY DO PEOPLE JUDGE PEOPLE
Let’s face it. We all judge one another. We judge each other’s actions. We judge each other’s words. We like to label people and put them in boxes. We brand people by education, age, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, physical appearance, income, class, behaviors, etc. The list goes on and on. It’s everywhere and it’s in all forms. Unless you are 100% happy with yourself, you are likely to judge others. Judging can make us feel safe about ourselves because we have now “defined” or labeled who this person is and what they are about and now we can act accordingly. Listen to this episode as we talk about why we should not judge others.
