När Deqa Abukar var 19 år gammal startade hon inkubatorn Bling Startup i Järvaområdet i Stockholm. En ideell organisation med målet att bli en motor för entreprenörskap i utanförskapsområden. Deqa berättar om sin mamma som förebild för att själv bli entreprenör och hur vi bygger ett inkluderande samhälle samt bryter utanförskap med entreprenörskap. Deqa pratar om vikten av representation i alla rum och på alla platser, att man blir det man ser.
I den nionde avsnittet möter du Erik Lundin, den hyllade hiphopartisten som slog igenom som artist med ep:n Suedi som fick två Grammis och blev Årets hiphop/soul på P3 Guldgalan. Erik berättar om budskapen i sina texter och varför han bestämt sig för att bli en förortsambassadör och därigenom berätta historier som annars inte berättas. Vi får även reda på bakgrunden till Suedi och varför han bestämde sig för att göra en kollektion med samma ord tryckt på tröjorna.
I det åttonde avsnittet möter du Ida Östensson, skatetjejen från Umeå som i sjuan startade en jämställdhetsgrupp. Hon är idag en av det starkaste rösterna och opinionsledarna inom jämställdhetsfrågor genom Make Equal och FATTA-rörelsen som drev igenom den nya samtyckeslagen. Ida berättar om sina egna upplevelser av övergrepp, om varför vi måste utveckla sexualundervisningen till att handla om mer än anatomi, samt varför vi måste våga prata mer om porr.
I sjunde avsnittet möter du Barakat Ghebrehawariat, entreprenör, föreläsare och demokratiagent. Barakat berättar om sina egna erfarenheter om strukturell rasism och vad som krävs för att förändra systemet. Han förklarar vad normkritik innebär och varför ett möte med en ung pojke ledde till att han på heltid fortsatte arbeta med frågor om diskriminering och inkludering.
I sjätte avsnittet möter du Aurore Belfrage, techentreprenör, geopolitisk rådgivare, investerare och rådgivare till Sveriges Nationella AI center och vice Ordförande i tankesmedjan Global Utmanings Governance utskott. Aurore berättar om sin karriär som stand up-komiker i mellanöstern och vem som kommer sitta i förarsätet för utvecklingen av AI. Dessutom förklarar hon varför vi inte lyckas gå från ord till handling när det gäller att lösa komplexa samhällsutmaningar, och med en tydlig lösning på vad vi behöver göra framåt.
In the fifth episode you will meet Per Heggenes, the CEO of the IKEA Foundation, a philanthropy which is funded by INGKA Foundation, owner of Ingka Group, who own most of the IKEA stores worldwide. IKEA Foundation is spending 200 million euros per year to help people who live in vulnerable conditions. Since becoming the Foundation’s first CEO in 2009, Per has led the Foundation’s evolution into a global, grant-making philanthropy that funds programs in more than 45 countries.
