I’m a big believer in the idea that dreams make the world go ‘round. It’s not always that these dreams get realized instantly, but its the belief, the pursuit, and the unshakable confidence that inspires. With the latest episode of Rap Philosophy, songs from Logic early in his career help to paint the vision of what it takes to accomplish something great.

We’ve come a long way
This video marks the start of another chapter on a continued journey. The essence of Rap Philosophy is to intertwine the love of music across genres such as Hip Hop, Rap, and Soul with uplifting, motivational philosophies. This latest season is centered around this word, “believe”. More descriptive, self belief is a concept I want to focus on, as anyone should if they are hoping to realize any worthy pursuit. My aim is to turn this little space in the description into an area of reflection, and this tool as a means of accountability as I am to push my limits and grow towards the best version of myself. In the process, I hope to find great music and share it with others in an attempt to bring together a community.
In the third episode of season 4, we look at not only what it means to achieve happiness, but how to make it last. Marlon Craft, an upcoming rapper from New York, alongside with lyrics from Russ provide a valuable perspective on what it takes to be happy, and its a lot simpler than you think.
Season 4 is finally here, and it's all about the Revival. This episode explores the genre of Soul music, and how we can re-ignite our dreams, passions, and love. Songs from Celeste and Gregory Porter paint a vivid picture of why settling for less is never an option.
Not everything in life always goes according to plan. This week's episode features songs from Sylvan LaCue and One Week Notice on how unexpected setbacks sparked the journey to success.
Music + Philosophy. No better way to start your week. New episodes every Sunday morning.
In the final episode of season 1, Kota the Friend's To Kill a Sunrise brings songs that shine on the distractions of life. Despite these obstacles, the importance of staying focused is this week's philosophy.
