The whole idea of Raja Yoga is to become Pure, The main duty of Paramathma is also to make us pure that is why we call Him Patheetha Pavanan. It means to make impure souls pure. The formula to make one pure is Manmana bhava. Realizing that we are souls and then remembering Paramathma is called Manmana Bhava.
